Enjoy the summer in Da Nang with a series of attractive tourism events

On the morning of May 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang held a press conference to announce the Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2025, which will take place from June 19 to 23, 2025.This is an annual city-scale event featuring many attractive cultural, sports, entertainment, and culinary activities aimed at serving the locals and attracting tourists during the summer.

Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized that this year's festival has been devised in a systematic and professional manner with the theme 'Colors of Summer', aiming to provide a vibrant and novel experience for participants. The city is committed to facilitating the festival to ensure it takes place safely and successfully.

In 2025, Da Nang tourism showed numerous positive signs. In the first four months of the year, the city welcomed over 3.5 million visitors, with tourism revenue reaching over 11.4 trillion VND. Specifically, during the holiday period of April 30th - May 1st, Da Nang welcomed about 610,000 visitors, with revenue estimated at 2.426 trillion VND.

This year's festival features more than 12 prominent activities, including: the opening program at East Sea Park with over 20,000 spectators; a Zumba and Dance Sport performance; a culinary zone "Danang Summer Taste" with over 60 booths; an art exhibit "The Story of Da Nang Fishing Village"; artistic kite flying combined with LED lighting; community sports activities and nightly street art performances at the beaches and riverside parks.

Along with the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival, the summer of 2025 in the city will also be vibrant with a series of international-scale events such as: the International Fireworks Festival, the DANAFF III Asian Film Festival, the Vietnam-Japan Festival, the Vietnam-Korea Festival, the Vietnam-England Football Festival 'Legendary Red Color', along with many cultural and street art programs taking place throughout the city.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival – DIFF 2025 officially opens on the evening of May 31, organized by the city People's Committee in collaboration with Sun Group, marking the impressive return of the most anticipated cultural and tourism event every summer. With the theme 'Cultural Essence', this year's festival will last from May 31 to July 12, becoming the longest and largest fireworks season in the 15-year history of the event.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Le Trung Chinh emphasized that DIFF 2025 is a highlight commemorating the 50th anniversary of Da Nang’s liberation and the reunification of the country, serving as an opportunity for the city to assert its development aspirations, aiming to become the 'leading event and festival City in Asia'.

The opening night attracted more than 10,000 spectators, featuring an impressive 'showdown' between the host team Da Nang and the reigning champion Joho Pyro (Finland), blending fireworks, music, light technology, and AR virtual reality - for the first time applied on a large scale at a cultural festival in Vietnam.

DIFF 2025 takes place every Saturday night with different themes and the participation of competing teams from Vietnam, Poland, Canada, China, Portugal, the UK, South Korea, and Italy. The final night will be held on July 12 with the theme 'Welcoming a New Era'.

Launch of the Da Nang Innovation Space - Greater Bay Area

On the morning of May 29, the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Center, in cooperation with Sunwah Group and Enosta Group, launched the Greater Bay Area Innovation Center at Enosta Space in Son Tra District.

This space aims to enhance the connectivity of the Da Nang innovation ecosystem with the Greater Bay Area (China), support startups, promote investment, share technology, and connect experts.

On this occasion, representatives from Sunwah Innovations (Sunwah Group) and Enosta Space (Enosta Group) signed a memorandum of understanding to connect the Da Nang startup ecosystem with the Greater Bay Area, contributing to the expansion of international cooperation networks in the field of innovative startups in the city.

Buddhists and the public began to pay homage to the relics of Buddha on the evening of May 30 at Quan The Am Pagoda

From May 30 to June 2, 2025, at Quan The Am Pagoda (Ngu Hanh Son District), the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Da Nang City organized a grand ceremony to carry, enshrine, and worship the Relics of the Buddha – a national treasure of India. Buddhists and the public started to worship from 7 PM on May 30.

The event held a significant religious, cultural, and diplomatic meaning, which contributed to strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and India, demonstrating the Party and State's policy of respecting freedom of belief, while also promoting Da Nang's image as a safe and friendly destination.

The city of Da Nang has implemented serious measures to ensure security, traffic, health, hygiene, and infrastructure to successfully organize this large-scale event.
