Within the framework of the Workshop "Danang FTZ and Investment Connection 2026" on June 13, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng affirmed that the Danang Free Trade Zone is a new growth driver and a gateway connecting the city with global production, trade, and logistics chains. Danang connects with the Financial-Technological Ecosystem in Hong Kong (China)
From June 10 to 12 (local time), in Hong Kong (China), a delegation from Danang City led by Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hồ Kỳ Minh worked with leading regulatory agencies, financial institutions, associations, and businesses.

Danang is working with Indian Experts to Continue Revitalizing the E-F Tower Groups at Mỹ Sơn
At a meeting with the experts of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on June 10, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyễn Thị Anh Thi affirmed that the project to preserve and restore the E-F tower groups at the Mỹ Sơn World Cultural Heritage site is a symbol of the friendly cooperative relationship and strategic partnership between Vietnam and India. The city will continue to create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented effectively and wishes to expand cooperation with Indian partners in heritage preservation, scientific research, human resource training, and sustainable tourism development.
The project is implemented on the basis of cooperation agreements between the governments of the two countries, with a total funding support from the Government of India of about 115 billion VND. After one year of implementation, the project has completed about 20% of the workload.

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">At the bilateral survey at the Tây Giang (Danang) - Ka Lum (Sekong) border gate area on the morning of May 14, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Phan Thái Bình and Chairman of the Sekong Provincial Government Committee Khanty Silavongsath agreed on the policy and coordination plans to prepare the necessary conditions to upgrade the Tây Giang - Ka Lum border gate to a main border gate before 2030.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">Both sides conducted a field survey, determining the scope of the border gate area, suitable locations, and coordinates to serve planning purposes, forming the basis for proposing adjustments to the planning and developing the design for the main border gate.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">This season marks the first time Vietnam will host a full-distance VNG IRONMAN, while also celebrating the 10th season of VNG IRONMAN 70.3 Danang. The event opened on May 10 at East Sea Park.</p>

For VNG IRONMAN 70.3, the distances include a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run; for the full-distance IRONMAN, the competitions consist of a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km run.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">Da Nang is pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for birdsong recognition, creating a new approach to biodiversity conservation and community experience.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">The "AI Tells Birdsong Stories" model has been deployed through listening stations in natural ecosystems like the Dam River and Cua Garden (Southern Da Nang).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">The AI system will record sounds, identify bird species, and provide information regarding their characteristics, behaviors, and habitats, helping residents and tourists gain a deeper understanding of the natural world.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;;line-height:30px">This project is supported by international organizations, including partners from Switzerland, to promote green urban initiatives and sustainable development.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">DANAFF IV will take place from June 28 to July 4, with the Script Lab program starting on June 26. The opening ceremony will be held on June 28, and the closing ceremony and award presentation will be organized on July 4 at the Ariyana International Convention Center in Danang and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.</span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify;line-height:30px"><span style="text-justify:inter-ideograph">DANAFF IV presents 102 films with approximately 200 screenings at Lê Độ, CGV Danang, and Galaxy Danang cinemas.
