Da Nang's Appeal Highlighted at the 11th Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) 2025

On the afternoon of March 31st, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the International Association of Golf Tour Operators, held a press conference to announce the 11th Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) 2025. This marks the second time Da Nang will host the Asia Golf Tourism Convention, the first being in 2017.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, Tan Van Vuong, stated that hosting AGTC 2025 not only helps Da Nang affirm its position on the international golf tourism map but also creates an opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic coastal city with 5-star resorts and world-class tourism services. According to Mr. Vuong, the event will open up many opportunities for cooperation and investment in the golf tourism and luxury tourism sectors.

AGTC 2025 will take place from March 30th to April 5th, 2025, featuring several key activities, including a familiarization trip for golf tour operators from March 31st to April 1st. The AGTC 2025 golf championship will be held on April 2nd, and the Asia Golf Tourism Conference will span two days, April 3rd and 4th.

Additionally, 168 companies specializing in golf tourism will have the opportunity to experience golf courses and resorts in Da Nang. Over 4,500 meetings between tour operators and golf tourism service providers are expected to boost revenue and expand the market, helping Da Nang's golf tourism reduce its reliance on some traditional markets.

The launch of the Almaty (Kazakhstan) – Da Nang route marks an important milestone in connecting Da Nang tourism with the Kazakh market specifically and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in general, contributing to attracting tourists from this promising new market to Da Nang.
